Neurodiversity in the Workforce
Recently I wrote a blog at work, effectively coming out as having ADD and championing neurodiversity at work at the same time.
I strongly believe that being open and talking about having ADD is important towards achieveing acceptance and removing the stigma seen in society. The more people who can do this, the better, and I invite any of you willing to do the same to contact me at the blog if you'd like advice or even be interviewed.
The aim of Nonjudgementally is to:
- Get people talking about living with and managing ADD /ADHD
- Start to remove social stigma around ADD / ADHD
- Create a community of like-minded people, who live and thrive despite having ADD / ADHD
Remember, one in 25 of us has ADD / ADHD - that's at least one in every classroom - and we make up around 4.4% of the world's population. That's more than the population of the USA! By uniting and sharing our stories we can help each other and achieve the goals above.
